I’m Joshua Addison, a writer and poet from Tacoma, Washington. I started writing from a real place.
A lot of what brought me to it came from going through things that were traumatic and hard to carry on my own. Writing became a way for me to process what I felt, sit with it, and put it into words when talking about it directly wasn’t always easy. What started there turned into something more. Now, my writing is rooted in honesty, reflection, and saying things the way they need to be said.

Unwritten Pages
Is a book of reflection on the experiences that caused turmoil in my life. It follows my journey of looking back at who I was, confronting my past, and working towards healing. In many ways, the book became an apology to my ex-wife and to myself, and a step toward finally moving forward.
