the first thing I see is your smile,

the warmth in your eyes when I walk

through the door.

It makes me feel loved,

because I know exactly where I’m meant to be.

I kiss your forehead,

and your body relaxes,

because it feels safe.

There’s no need for anything else.

It’s just you.

I love the way that you smell,

your natural scent, your body.

It relaxes me.

It brings me peace.

My body knows exactly what its’s been waiting for,

because it desires yours.

I’m in love with you,

because you make me feel alive,

and my heart responds to that

every time I’m near you.
