there are days

where i still can’t believe

that i got the chance

and space

to love you

all this time,

i’ve been stuck

on the dark side of the moon

off balance,

unable to plant my feet properly,

like gravity stopped working

the moment life got heavy

but since our stars aligned,

i’ve found my way home

learning how to stand again,

standing next to you

on the bright side of the moon

finally seeing the sunrise

from a view
